Kyla Graham, is a Canadian marine mammal scientist and real estate entrepreneur. She has committed herself to continuously gaining a deeper understanding of marine wildlife, including marine mammals, sea turtles and sea birds, through field observation for over 20 years. She has a BSc in Geography with a minor in Environmental Studies, University of Victoria (2004) and a Master of Research in Marine Mammal Science, University of St. Andrews (2008). In addition to her work in marine mammal science, Kyla is applying the knowledge she has gained through Elite Legacy (Rich Dad) real estate investing training, since 2019, to help others and reach her goal of income replacement, financial freedom and more quality time to do what she love with the people she loves.
Kyla has worked as a Marine Mammal Observer (MMO) and Passive Acoustic Monitor (PAM) in the offshore oil and gas industry from 2009-2017; her job was to collect visual and acoustic data on marine mammals and sea turtles during offshore industrial activities and provide information to industry clients regarding requirements to minimize the impacts of these industries on these species. Kyla has participated as a research assistant collecting and analysing data for a variety of marine research projects in British Columbia, Canada and internationally including research on killer whales, gray whales and humpback whales in Canada, leatherback sea turtles in Costa Rica, gray whales and bottlenose dolphins in Baja, Mexico and bottlenose dolphins and humpback whales in Kenya and Tanzania, East Africa.
